The Gold Ribbon™

 

The Gold Ribbon™ is the official ribbon of childhood cancer awareness symbol. It is endorsed by families of children with cancer worldwide, the National Childhood Cancer Foundation, support groups, friends, caregivers, and treatment centers.

 

The Gold Ribbon™ Campaign for Childhood Cancer Awareness was started in 1997 by Gigi Thorsen. She was inspired to launch this childhood cancer awareness campaign by the life of her daughter Kelsey.

 

Cherish, remember and pay tribute to your child who has or has had cancer by purchasing your gold ribbon pin!

Donate at Work


You can designate Childhood Cancer Careline in your workplace giving campaign! If your workplace offers a corporate giving option (i.e. United Way or similar) you can designate Childhood Cancer Careline for the year. Your gift will help us to continue providing support for children living with cancer.

 

If our local Childhood Cancer Careline chapter is not a listed agency, you may write it in! Just specify: Childhood Cancer Careline, Giving from the Heart

Coins for Kids


Here's a great way for you and your classroom, school, church or youth group, baseball team, swim team, neighbors, dance class, favorite restaurant or business to get involved! Collect coins for our kids fighting Cancer!

 

Here's how it works:
1. Call 425.870.5622 to request a water jug.
2. Collect your coins in the jug!
3. Turn the coins into Children's Cancer Care when the jug is full or on a date mutually agreed on.
